This tranquil garden paradise will be open to the public this October between the 16th – 20th.… And you have to see it to believe it! A rose-smothered archway will lead you into this stunning retreat, where you will find a hidden paradise ablaze with blooming roses and spring annuals including ranunculi, poppies, freesias, alyssum and iris. The garden features massive trunks of petrified wood, native plantings, fruit trees, cactus garden, an impressive Lilly pond, creek and waterfall. Crossing the bridge spanning the pond, you will find filled with giant Goldfish, and gorgeous water lilies. The towering gums, jacarandas and liquidambars provide much shade which has allowed the garden to flourish in the harsh climate. The garden is a must see for the avid birdwatcher or garden enthusiast. Bring a chair/rug and picnic lunch and relax in the peaceful setting of this country bush paradise.

Line Dancing Workshops
Get ready for some classic boot scootin' with 2hr line dance workshops, held prior to "Australia's Longest Single Line Dance – official record attempt 2017" in association with “Australia’s Grande Country Carnivále”. All ages welcome. No dance experience required. Tea/coffee and light nibbles will be provided. Learn the nominated dance "Boot Scootin’ Boogie" by Bill Bader + many other classics, increase your line dancing skills, or just have a ton of fun in the lead up to the big event. Opportunities will also be available to sign up for “Australia’s Longest Single Line Dance” held 21 October Bassett Park, Roma QLD at the “Mega Weekend Celebrations”. So gather some friends together and come along! MEADOWBANK MUSEUM Located 12km west of Roma, this peaceful paradise will take you back in time, where you can admire a collection of antique artefacts, farming equipment, horse-drawn vehicles and historical memorabilia.
